Finally, a skin moisturizer that gets 30 MPG

Thursday, August 5th, 2010

Whereas I cannot find someone to pay me just over minimum wage to teach 18-year-olds how to use semicolons, someone got paid to come up with a car that does this.

You may say spending $25k on a skin moisturizer is ridiculous, but then I guess you don’t care about your skin very much, do you?

Judge ruling paves way for more illegal immigrant marriages

Wednesday, August 4th, 2010

In AZ, they gnash their teeth as the overturning of California’s ban on gay marriage increased by 200% the potential combination of illegal immigrant unions (señor-señora, señora-señora, señor-señor).

Non illegal-immigrants will also be affected.

Genre defying TV show combines crime and investigation

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

There are lots of crime shows out there, we know.  There are also investigation shows, in which people investigate things.  But the premise behind ABC’s upcoming show Detroit 1-8-7 is so out there, words probably don’t do it justice.

In it, a team of cops investigates homicides. It’s what industry insiders are calling a criminal investigation show and if it catches on…MAN.

Oh, and while you try to wrap our brain around that concept, consider this…the show takes place in Detroit! My first instinct was, no, the mean streets of Detroit are too dangerous for a crime investigation show…but I suppose if you’re going to revolutionize the TV landscape, you might as well go all the way.

On a down note, if the show works, it kind of sinks my new pilot: “Chandler, AZ 496″ about a duo of local cops investigating the handling of stolen property cases in a booming suburban town.
