Abstinence not absence? And I just want to say that me and my friend M. were ALL OVER THIS when the books first came out. We even invented a phrase just to describe the literary (well, okay pseudo-literary) phenomenon: “trembling restraint.” Nothing hotter than some good old-school trembling restraint.
