What Is Funny?

Today is this blog’s 50^th anniversary.  Happy Birthday Blog!  It honor of that, here is the first joke that kicked off this blog’s life (though, keep in mind, in 1960 when it first appeared, few people read it since the blog was relatively new and home computers hadn’t even been invented yet!):

It looks like Joanne Woodward is up to her old tricks again.  After getting the first star on the Hollywood walk of fame, she reportedly said to the press, “Now I’ll have more guys walking on me than Myrna Loy at a UNESCO convention.”
