I like how the new owners of Ms. Ramirez’s house felt it was totally okay to throw her and all her stuff out on the street in the middle of the night, because the house was now officially theirs. Somehow the story manages to blame the bank for making the error, not them for being farking a-holes about their newly discovered property rights—when even the judge manages to slip in a tiny reproval: “The information the owners received was that the sale wasn’t totally reversed,” Judge Israel Reyes said. “So it’s not totally their fault.”

And I found Judd Nelson COMPLETELY convincing as Bender. This is Not Funny! Humph.

PPS okay okay and the design-flaws-in-Star-Wars one is brilliant. My own personal take on Stormtrooper uniforms however is that they are designed to do one thing: make Stormtroopers look like gleaming white penises. And at this, they are very good. Fascist design FTW!

In the case of Ms. Ramirez, what’s probably more disturbing than the asshole (would be) homeowner kicking her out, is the string of comments below the article insisting it was probably Ms. Ramirez’s fault in some way. Because we all know the bedrock of personal responsibility is blaming the victim regardless of facts.
